Ward was the first baby born in MonroeLouisiana on 15 April 1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. Ward attended Ouachita Parish High School to complete her secondary schooling. She then moved to River Oaks High School the season following her senior year. Following her graduation she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left school at the age of thirteen and relocated in New York so that she could begin modeling. A few years later, she decided to attempt her hand at acting. In the 1970s, she had a small part that was not credited in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she was offered a brief role as NBC's prime time teen-drama Malibu Shores. The role she was cast in was Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999 she started a film career. She starred as a character in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film was a commercial disappointment in theatres, but it did find some success on cable and home-video. Ward then played an important supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Ward has appeared in several direct-to-DV films in addition to having guest starred in a variety of TV series. Most notably Friends. The character of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 in which she played the mom of a girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. For her private life, she's married to David C. Robinson. With him they had Cameron.
